I called Acer USA today and set up an ITW (International Travel Warrenty) service for my TM292LCi laptop. The whole process was presenantly smooth. It's not long, no annoying waiting on the line, every question was direct to the problem, oh god, this is the best service call I've been made. Now I got all the information I need to prepare my laptop for repairing, a purolator pick-up has been set up on the coming Monday. Everything should be covered by the warrenty. All I have to do is to prepare my laptop and have it picked up, then wait for 7-10 days to get a fixed laptop back!
I will wait to see how well they can do to repair my laptop. I hope everything that follows is as good as the phone call!
